DOG GUIDE: JAMES
Meet James, a Lions Foundation of Canada Autism Assistance Dog Guide! James is new to this 2023-2024 school year and we know will become a big part of our school.
If you visit our school, there are some important things to learn about being around a Dog Guide:
Never touch or speak to a service animal while it is working! Working Dogs need to keep their focus on their 'person' in order to do their jobs!
A Dog Guide is happy while working. He may look 'sad' or 'tired' but that is because he is trained to stay still and quiet until his 'person' needs him!
Dog guides get to go everywhere with their 'people'! You can expect to see James everywhere you see students.
